Nyahururu man sodomised, killed, and head stashed inside sack
Police in Laikipia County are investigating an incident where a man was sodomised before being killed.
In an incident that has shocked locals, the man whose identity is yet to be known was found with his head covered with a sack within a bushy area.
Police say the body was found by a local who quickly alerted the area chief who rushed to the scene.
“The body had a deep cut in the forehead and it is suspected that he was sodomized before being killed,” a police report on the matter read in part.
Officers drawn from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), homicide wing are yet to find out what was the motive of the deadly incident.
The incident is one of a kind as police say that they have never handled such a matter within the locality.
Meanwhile a man who early this year followed a drunk man and allegedly sodomized him before he locked him inside his house for hours is yet to be arrested.
The man only identified as Mr Silas who lives in Mosonic Village of Kyogong location in Chepalungu Constituency has been on the run since the incident took place.
The DCI in a statement said that the suspect followed the man as he was walking out of the club where he was having time with friends.
He had excused himself to rush to the toilet but things turned ugly when the suspect followed him and led him to his house.
“As the man staggered back to the local, he was accosted by the suspect who instead led him to his house approximately 200 metres away,” wrote DCI on Twitter.
Attempts to raise an alarm by the victim did not bear any fruit as loud music from the pub muted his yelps.
