Pastor Ng’ang’a released after night stay at police station over Sh3.6m fraud
Televangelist James Ng’ang’a of Neno Evangelism Centre was on Thursday night arrested for allegedly defrauding a businessman Sh3.6 million.
The televangelist spent the night at Central police station in Nairobi.
He was released on Friday morning on a police bond and is set to be arraigned in court
Police have not disclosed the name of the businessman and when he was defrauded, only stating that he will be arraigned in court on Friday.
Ng’ang’a was last month charged with threatening to kill Citizen TV journalist Linus Kaikai and incitement to violence.
He was released on a Sh200,000 cash bail or Sh300,000 bond.
