Preacher orders congregation to eat live snake
A flamboyant preacher in South Africa raised the bar of faith by ordering members of his congregation to eat a live snake, telling them it will become chocolate.
Prophet Penuel of End Times Disciples Ministries in Soshanguve, Pretoria, told his congregation that God has granted them authority to “change everything into anything.”
Pictures from the church show two congregants facing heavenwards and allowing the preacher to immerse the tail of the dangling reptile into their open mouths.
The photos are captioned: “Man of God declared a snake to become a chocolate (chomp) and the congregation ate it. We have authority to change everything into anything and it will obey because of our authority.”
Previously, the preacher had ordered a congregant to swallow a piece of cloth which he said would taste like chocolate.
