UoN student found with weed biscuits in hostel charged
A University of Nairobi student was on Wednesday charged with possession of biscuits laced with narcotics.
Joseph Kagiri was allegedly found with over 300 biscuits suspected to contain Cannabis Sativa, a proscribed substance.
Prosecution said the student was found with the biscuits in his hostel room in Kileleshwa.
He denied committing the offence and was released on Sh50,000 bond.
Earlier, he had pleaded guilty but changed plea before sentencing.
