Westgate: Roof collapses as end in sight
Intermittent gunfire continued to be heard at Westgate Mall on Tuesday as security agents continued with the operation to take control of the outlet.
Armoured military vehicles were moving around the mall, indicating that some militants were still holed up inside in despite reports that six more had been killed.
The government had put the number of militants at between 10 and 15.
Kenya Defence Forces also reported that some soldiers involved in the operation had died at the Forces Memorial Hospital.
