Has William Kabogo finally ‘seen the light’?
Former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo seems to have finally “seen the light”, considering the activities and social media posts attributed to him in recent times.
Having initially curved a niche as a man of means who possessed an arrogant and bullish demeanor, the 54 year old politician has since losing his gubernatorial seat in August instead retreated into a humble and religious mode.
The ‘changed’ Kabogo has left a majority of his followers on social media amazed.
In the past three days, for instance, Kabogo has been sharing religious and inspirational quotes and messages on Twitter.
.” “Peace cannot be kept by force; it can only be achieved by understanding.” “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that.

Whichever the current case may be, these messages portray a complete turnaround from the Kabogo of a few months back.
In his heyday, not even Deputy President William Ruto was spared of the man’s abrasive messages.
He has also consistently been linked to the sudden death of University student Mercy Keino six years ago, even though he has maintained his innocence.
All said, the Kenyans on Twitter is understandably puzzled.
