Mr Osewe is figting for his life after being shot two times in the stomach and on the neck by a licensed firearm holder in Kasarani on Thursday.

A scan revealed that a bullet of 9mm calibre is lodged in his lower abdomen and he was scheduled for an operation to remove it on Friday.

After the 2.30pm shooting, the attacker Mr Tom Oywa Mboya called a senior police officer in Kasarani and told him that he was driving to the station.

Mr Osewe’s wife who is out of the country is expected to be back anytime.

Police confirmed that the suspect is still in custody and they are yet to decide the charges to be preferred against him.
