Media personality Anne Kiguta has wowed her social media family by sharing a special mother-son moment with her son, Uhuru.

Anne shared photos with her son, covering his face saying they were taken at a space-themed celebration marking 60 years of diplomatic relations between Kenya and the Russian Federation.

The event was attended by His Excellency the Russian Ambassador to Kenya, Dimitry Maksyimichev, and featured a screening of “The Challenge,” the first-ever feature film shot in space at the International Space Station (ISS).

Anne Kiguta, a well-known figure in the media, took to her Instagram to express her excitement about the unique occasion.

She wrote, “My work affords me very few privileges, but this is one of the most special ones: I had the singular honor to introduce the world’s greatest space geek, my son Uhuru, to HE the Russian Amb. to Kenya Dimitry Maksyimichev at a space-themed celebration.”

She explained how her son, Uhuru, was captivated by the space-themed event, especially the screening of “The Challenge.”

She said her son watched in wonder as cosmonauts performed their drills, and a rocket was launched into the cosmos.

The event highlighted the significance of space exploration and the importance of collaboration in the field.

Russia, with a rich history in space exploration, achieved several significant milestones, including the first lunar landing with Luna 2 and the launching Sputnik 1, the first artificial Earth satellite.

Now, Russia is setting its sights on further lunar exploration, contributing to the new era of space exploration.

Anne Kiguta noted that space serves as a platform for nations to work together.

Uhuru is Anne Kiguta’s son with Jomo Gecaga.

Incidentally, Gecaga is retired president Uhuru Kenyatta’s nephew.

In 2020, the media personality vowed not to ever give details about her children.

She has managed to keep her kids away from the limelight, given the fact that her twins’ faces have never appeared on any social media platform.
