Harambee Stars players to be axed in wake of ‘orgy’ reports
The Harambee Stars technical bench is set to recommend the exclusion of some first team players from future engagements on disciplinary grounds, Nairobi News can exclusively reveal.
The recommendation is contained in a report the coaches are currently working on.
The report is being compiled by head coach Bobby Williamson, his assistants David Ouma and Musa Otieno, plus team manager Willis Waliaula.
The report will be handed to Football Kenya Federation in the coming days, according to a source privy to the events.

“The time has come for us to make big decisions. Some so called big name players are not only contributing very little to the team’s cause, but are consistently destabilizing the team from within with serious discipline cases,” the source said.
“We can learn from Zambia, who gave debuts to upto four players when we played them, including one player from the country’s second division, ” he added.
These developments come in the wake of disturbing reports exclusively reported by Nairobi News of three players who were involved in a sex orgy at the team’s hotel hours to the Africa Nations Cup qualifying match against Zambia.
The management of the hotel has refused to formally comment on the subject despite consistent probes by Nairobi News.
On Thursday evening, deputy head coach Musa Otieno admitted that he is “disturbed” and “disappointed” by the negative publicity surrounding the team.
DISAPPOINTING
The former Kenya captain, who doubles up as a TV pundit, confirmed this while contributing on Simba Super Soccer, a weekly football show aired on pay TV channel Supersport.
“I have been in football for a long time and have since built a name that I remain keen to protect,” the coach said.
“We have heard several things about the players that are disturbing and disappointing. The technical bench spoke to the team after the match against Zambia and emphasized that there is need to behave in a more professional manner,” he added.
His remarks were backed up by similar remarks by another ex-international Simeon Mulama.
“The security guards at the hotel will tell you that this team should not have played Zambia. We should have awarded the visitors a walkover. Our players went on partying and drinking and normally returned back to the hotel late in the company of visitors,” Mulama said.
Kenya’s next assignment is a World Cup qualifying game against Mauritius in early October.
