Former Kenyan Big Brother star survives rape attempt
Former Kenyan representative to Big Brother Africa (BBA); The Chase, Annabel Mbaru, says she almost got raped by a taxi driver on Sunday morning.
Annabel, who appeared on the BBA show the same year as socialite Huddah Monroe, made the startling revelation on Instagram, with a picture with the words: “End rape.”
She says the prevented man fondled her breasts and told her to shut up.
“Power is everything in this country. I used powerful names to get him off my body,” she says.
She managed to get the number plate of taxi and is seeking help tracking its owner.

“I almost got raped this morning by a taxi man. I never disclose personal stories about my life anyhow. I want all the ladies reading this to take note… I’m not okay now because of the situation I was in. May God guide me through this situation. A lot of people will want to see you fall in life, and that’s where the devil comes in.
“I’m the most sincere lady you shall ever meet. I don’t lie and pretend to like people who don’t matter. Honestly, I don’t care what anyone has to say about me because I know me. I pray for the one’s who bless me, and bless those who cuss me. I not only got disrespected but fondled so baaad by the taxi man. He fondled my womanhood aka my breasts and told me to shut up!

I pray his karma is not his daughter because the situation I was in was disarming. Friends take care of friends. I made one call and the person came to my rescue in the end.
