Heiress of Keroche empire warns youth against glitzy lifestyles
Anerlisa Muigai, the daughter of founder and chief executive of Keroche Breweries Tabitha Karanja, is a big campaigner of simple living despite her family’s immense wealth.
Her latest Instagram post cautioned young people against being endeared to material things.
“When you die they won’t remember your car or house. They will remember who you were. Be a good human, not good materialist,” wrote Muigai.

Miss Muigai, who is also the founder and chief executive of NERO, a water bottling company, recently took to Instagram to vent her frustrations on untrustworthy and fake friends.
“…so many people think that I have a heart of steel. When I have problems they don’t even care to call and check up on me. I am expected to be okay no matter the situation. It’s also funny how some people expect me to be there for them but nobody is ever there for me. When I post something heartbreaking, they only call to get the gossip and after that nobody even cares…” part of the post read.
