Here is the first thing these matatu crews do everyday – PHOTOS

Photos of drivers and conductors on their knees at Nanyuki bus terminus have excited users on Facebook.

In a series of photos taken by blogger The Wanja, the crew members can be seen kneeling on bare ground next to their matatus.

They all lift their hands in surrender in what has been termed to be a daily morning devotion that has caught the eye of residents.

The Wanja shared the photos in her page, Hummingbird, captioning them; “If photos and videos of Matatu people harassing women go viral, then these photos of Matatu drivers and conductors praying (which they do daily in the morning) at Nanyuki bus terminus should also go viral. No?”

The photos come in the wake of matatu crews being accused of being part of cartels that are drugging and robbing unsuspecting female passengers.
