Inachosha! Harmonize tells Diamond on his 15-years celebration plans

Diamond Platnumz recently announced his desire to host a collaborative concert with former signee Harmonize as part of his 15-year music career celebration.

The “Sikomi” singer made this revelation on his Instagram page while responding to Harmonize’s frustration over his repeated assertions of contributing significantly to Harmonize’s success.

Diamond was speaking during his recent performance at Serengetivibe on Saturday, April 27 where he expressed his aspiration for a joint event where they could commemorate their achievements together.

He affectionately referred to Harmonize and other past signees as his “golden children.”

“Rich in wealth, poor in children. Now I’m not wealthy Mzee Konde. Let me boast, you are my golden children. Thereafter I will move to my grandchildren. In 15 years of celebrations, I want us to have one family event and celebrate a little what God has blessed us with,”‘ Diamond said.

He also publicly acknowledged artists he had mentored in music, including former signees: Harmonize, Rayvanny, and Richie Mavoko.

Harmonize has since reacted to Diamond’s remarks, expressing his dissatisfaction.

In a series of posts, Harmonize reiterated that while he appreciates Diamond’s support, the continual reminders have become exhausting.

‘I introduced him!!, I introduced him!!, I introduced him!!, I introduced him!!, I introduced him!!, I introduced him!! Yes, it’s true thank you, but it’s tiring and I’m close to regretting it,” Harmonize wrote in response to Diamond’s statement.

Harmonize parted ways with Wasafi in August 2019, and since then, tensions between him and his former boss have persisted.

Offering insight into his departure from the record label, he said:

“I was signed into a 10-year contract at WCB. Any money I earned within the contract, Diamond would take 60%, leaving me with 40%. I would have to add my own money to my share in order to push my music,” he revealed.

Harmonize said his troubles at the label began when he started doing music tours to different countries, including Nigeria, and releasing widely successful collaborations with continental acts.
