They are genuine! Ex-Governor Wycliffe Oparanya addresses leaked photos
Former Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya has finally addressed the circulating photos featuring him alongside his “loved one”, identified as Mary Biketi.
On Saturday, April 27, 2024, the public was surprised by the emergence of these photos showing the former governor posing with Biketi.
Reports indicate that Biketi, a model, shared the images, prompting widespread speculation about their relationship.
In a recent video posted on Biketi’s social media platforms, Oparanya confirmed the authenticity of the photos, saying they were taken with a “loved one”.
Expressing confusion over their circulation, he emphasised that they were taken in a private and respectful manner.
“I have seen someone circulating my photos, genuine photos those are very genuine photos and I don’t know why someone would circulate them. But it is unfortunate when I took those photos, they leaked to the press. Those are very decent photos and I don’t know the interest that people have when you have taken photos with a loved one,” he said.
In one of the images circulated, the pair seemed engrossed in an intimate discussion, possibly within a club ambience, where Biketi wore a form-fitting dress.
After these photos surfaced, Kenyans voiced their opinions, largely condemning Biketi for posting the pictures online, considering Oparanya’s marital status with two wives.
