How serial teen offender lured 4-year-old neighbour into death trap
Police are holding a 19-year-old girl after she allegedly strangled her neighbour who was aged 4.
According to the neighbours, the teenager this is not the first time the teenager has tried to strangle minors in the area.
She had in the past attempted to strangle another minor who was rescued and the case settled between the families.
In the recent incident, police said the teenager wooed the four-year-old girl and strangled her before dumping her in a quarry in Nyondia village in Naivasha.
The girl is admitted to a local hospital after she was rescued by the police after members of the public attempted to lynch her.

During the incident, irate members of the public descended on the family’s house demolishing it before police rescued the suspect and the mother.
Police said that the teenager and his mother had recorded statements as part of the investigation adding that the minor’s body was found in a flooded section of the quarry where the suspect was last seen walking with the victim.
“We are still investigating the motive behind this bizarre murder and the suspect will be charged with murder in court,” said police in a statement.
In another bizarre incident, residents of a village in Kinangop are trying to come to terms with an incident in which a man went berserk and killed his daughter using a machete before taking his own life.
He also left his wife with life-threatening injuries after he slashed her with the same machete over the weekend.

Police said in a statement that the man turned on his 17-year-old daughter, who walked while he was attacking his estranged wife and hacked her to death.
“The daughter was returning home after taking her two siblings to school when she found the father attacking their mother,” police said.
After the attacks, the man allegedly hanged himself.
After falling out, the woman had moved to Munyaka Centre to get away from him but he followed her there where he slashed her with a machete before killing the daughter.
