How Singer Samidoh won Edday’s heart in high school
Mugiithi artiste, Samidoh, has shared an intimate glimpse into his romantic journey with his highschool sweetheart, Edday Nderitu.
In a heartfelt post on his social media platforms, Samidoh recounted a surprising encounter with Peter Okoye of the iconic P Square duo during his music tour in Europe.
Reflecting on his highschool days, he humorously revealed that he used to dedicate P Square’s love songs to the girls he was dating.
“I bumped into this guy from Nigeria, Peter of Psquare. Karibu nimwambie vile nilitumia ngoma zao ykama ddex kwa barua pale highschool,” Samidoh shared.
(I almost told him how I used his songs to write love messages to the women I dated back in high school.)
In a previous media interview, Samidoh had stated that he had no ex-girlfriends and married his first love, Edday.
He candidly admitted to being initially timid around girls, attributed to growing up without sisters.
However, fate intervened when he met Edday in high school, and their connection blossomed.
“After I met her in high school and said hello, it’s like she was also into it,” he revealed, describing his wife as a “good girl.”
Samidoh fondly recalled their first date, which occurred during their high school years.
“I bought her some snacks and that is all,” he said in a past interview.
However, recent events have brought about changes in their relationship.
Edday Nderitu, who is currently residing in the United States, confirmed her separation from Samidoh on July 22.
Addressing the situation, Edday stated,
“I am not in any polygamous marriage as stated. I left the husband for whoever needed him more.” She spoke about her decision to prioritize her well-being and that of her children, particularly her teenage daughter, in the face of what she referred to as a “toxic environment.”
Edday has allegedly taken on the responsibility of providing for her children’s needs without assistance and expressed no regrets about her decision.
She also emphasized her desire for a drama-free and peaceful existence in the next chapter of her life.
