IEBC figures match ours- Elog
Elections Observation Group (ELOG) says the presidential results announced by IEBC on Friday match their parallel vote tabulation.
Elog says it surveyed 1,692 polling stations of the over 40,883 gazetted stations.
The group on Saturday said results from forms 34A matched with what their agents presented from the sampled polling stations.
However, it could not say whether the election process was free, fair and credible.
HACKING
The group, which comprises of civil society organisations, including faith-based organizations, wants hacking claims to be investigated.
IEBC results show that President Uhuru Kenyatta garnered 8,203,290 votes (54.27 per cent) with ODM and Nasa candidate, Raila Odinga, coming in second with 6,762,224 votes (44.74 per cent).
In total, 15,073,662 people cast their votes, representing 78.91 per cent of the registered voters.
Nasa has disputed the results saying the IEBC database was hacked.
