Kalonzo denies meeting Uhuru in Mombasa to hammer Jubilee deal

Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has dimissed reports linking him to a proposed pre-election pact with President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee Party.

The deal, according to the unconfirmed reports, was the agenda of a meeting held by the two leaders in Mombasa over the weekend.

On Tuesday, Mr Musyoka dismissed the reports as malicious.

“Reports that I met President Uhuru Kenyatta in Mombasa are malicious and need to be condemned by lovers of Nasa,” Mr Musyoka told journalists.

He made the remarks after meeting Ukambani leaders Charity Ngilu, Kivutha Kibwana and Wavinya Ndeti at Ole Sereni Hotel.

The three Ukambani leaders said Mr Musyoka is their only option as Nasa flagbearer.
