Why Kenyans are crushing on this green bulldozer
Kenyans on social media have be praising the now famous green bulldozer belonging to the National Youth Service (NYS), which has been used to bring down illegal buildings across the city.
From Langata Road to Mutindwa, Kileleshwa and Westlands, the green bulldozer has been wreaking havoc as it demolishes buildings, some owned by powerful individuals.
On Monday, Kenyans woke up to the demolitions of a Shell petrol station and a Java coffee house in Kileleshwa.
On Tuesday, the green bulldozer brought down Southend Mall along Langata Road.
In July, the bulldozer was in Eastlands also demolished illegal structures near railway lines and power lines in Kaloleni and Mutindwa.
It was used to flatten structres in Kibera slums to pave way for a new road.
