Kenyans on social media are trolling a tweep who tipped Safaricom on a suspected system breakdown that enabled subscribers to receive free Bonga Points.

The user, Jeremiah Kahindo, alerted the telecommunications firm – via a tweet that has since been deleted –  of an anomaly from which Kenyans were reaping free Bonga Points.

Bonga Points system is used by Safaricom to reward loyal customers and can at times be redeemed for goodies such as airtime and accessories such as laptops and mobile phones

Understandably, Safaricom immediately applauded Jeremiah for his honesty.
