K’Ogallo deep fried in Nakuru

Champions Gor Mahia fell 2-0 to debutants Top Fry All Stars at Nakuru’s Afraha Stadium on Saturday as visiting Chemelil Sugar held AFC Leopards to a barren draw at City Stadium in Nairobi.

At Afraha Stadium, 18-year-old John Ndirangu of Top Fry All Stars scored a goal in each half to floor defending champions Gor Mahia in a thrilling match.

Ndirangu scored the opener in the 45th minute after being put through by Erastus Mwaniki  to shoot past Gor Mahia goalkeeper Jeremy Onyango for a 1-0 half-time lead.

In the second-half, Ndrirangu again scored in the 72nd minute.

Top Fry coach Peter Okidi could not hide his joy.

“I knew it was coming. I told my players to improve with every game and I thank God our prayers have been answered,” said an elated Okidi.
