Lupita Nyong’o dazzles in new curly hairdo
Award winning actress Lupita Nyong’o showed off a new curly hairstyle in her latest Instagram post.
She captioned the photo, “Geekin’ out at #Disney #d23expo.”
The 12 Years a Slave actress uploaded the photo on Saturday showing off her hair that now reaches her ears.
A second photo shows an almost full length view of Nyong’o, sporting a goofy expression as she holds up movie posters for Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Disney’s The Jungle Book.
The actress was promoting her latest movies at the fan expo in Anaheim, California, on Saturday.
She also promoted The Queen of Katwe, a film based on the real-life story of 12-year-old chess prodigy Phiona Mutesi which was shot on location in Uganda.
“First of all, I am from East Africa, from Kenya, which is just next door to Uganda,” Nyong’o said of filming in Africa.
“It was invaluable. I met Phiona and her mother and they are just incredible people.”
Nyong’o then talked about how the people of the slums of Katwe have “dignity” and Katwe “is a difficult place to live,” and shooting there “did sober us and enliven us. To have that vibe was really exciting.”
