‘Mammito and girlfriends’ concert invites international artistes
Former Churchill Show comedian Eunice Wanjiru, affectionately known as Mammito, is gearing up to enchant audiences with the much-anticipated third edition of her comedy series, ‘Mammito & Girlfriends.’
Scheduled for December 9 at the Nairobi National Museum’s auditorium, the event promises a night of uproarious laughter, featuring an impressive lineup of both international and homegrown comedic talent.
Expressing her enthusiasm for the upcoming show, Mammito shared her excitement:
“I’m absolutely delighted to share my platform with my friends in the industry, with whom I’ve also had the privilege of sharing the stage before. They each offer distinct perspectives on everyday life issues, politics, and even relationships, and what’s most intriguing is that their views are raw and unfiltered and also above board hilarious.”
This edition of Mammito & Friends will unfold as a two-day comedy extravaganza, illuminating December with a diverse array of comedic styles.
The stellar lineup includes international talents like South Sudan’s Akau Jambo and South Africa’s Vafa Naraghi, alongside Kenya’s own Ty Ngachira and Doug Mutai.
In an inviting message to the audience, Ty Ngachira said, “Come and let’s laugh at life together, let’s laugh at our good days, our bad days, and our terrible days.”
Building on the triumph of the previous editions, Mammito & Girlfriends (August 2023) and Mammito & Friends (December 2022), the upcoming event is anticipated to elevate the entertainment scene to new heights.
