Popular content creators Milly Chebby and actress Jackie Matubia have confirmed the end of their friendship, addressing the speculations that have swirled around their relationship.
While their separation happened in July 2023, they chose to make it public in October 2023 after Jackie Matubia was notably absent from Milly Chebby’s traditional wedding.
In a YouTube video shared alongside her husband, Terence Creative, Milly Chebby chose to discuss their friendship status, as it had been one of the most frequently asked questions in her DM.
She explained her decision to maintain discretion in their matter, saying:
“It will be so unfair for me to sit here and discuss if Jackie and I fell out or if Jackie and I are no longer friends.
We are above that. And for that reason, today, although I want to be truthful to you people, why should I be truthful and then I hurt someone else that is not me.
I also wouldn’t want to be hurt by anyone. It will be so unfair. Go show love to Jackie as you also show love to me.”
Notably, Milly Chebby has unfollowed Jackie Matubia on her social media platforms.
The notable absence of Jackie Matubia from the grand traditional wedding of Terence Creative and Milly Chebby in Eldoret on October 21 raised questions among fans.
Responding to inquiries from fans, Matubia offered her perspective on the situation.
In the midst of a fan’s question about her absence at the wedding, Jackie Matubia responded:
“Why should I defend myself when they have already said I have a bad heart, and I also don’t have a husband?”
