Njugush pokes fun at Moses Kuria for embarrassing moment on TV

Comedian Njugush has had his fans roaring with laughter by masterfully mimicking Trade Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria in a rib-tickling skit.

In this comical sketch, Njugush, portraying a ‘coach,’ engaged in a humorous exchange with his wife, Celestine Ndinda, who played the role of a dissatisfied client seeking fitness results.

Celestine expressed her concern to her “coach” (aka the ‘CS’) that, despite months of dedicated workouts, she had yet to shed weight as expected.

Njugush, in classic comedic fashion, questioned his wife about the source of her results, and she humorously responded that she got them from (CBD).

Drawing from Mr Kuria’s recent headline-making statements, Njugush suggested that Ndinda should get weighed in Ruiru instead.

Celestine amusingly retorted, “Coach, you’re behaving like a CS… I’m telling you I’m not seeing any results. I’ve been coming to the gym, but there’s been no change. I was weighed in Nairobi CBD.”

Njugush cheekily responded: “Where did you get weighed? Oh, that’s the problem. You should have gone to Ruiru. Everything is lower in Ruiru. Sugar has dropped, madam, let go of those worries. Who’s the coach here, you or me? Who checked your sugar levels? In Ruiru, everything has gone down. Have you become the coach?”

The skit was a parody of Mr Kuria’s remarks during a recent interview on Citizen TV when the CS addressed the question of edible oil prices and challenged the journalist regarding the accuracy of the figures presented.

Mr Kuria also challenged journalist to make random calls to supermarkets to verify his claims, saying the price of cooking oil has significantly decreased since his appointment.

As the interview continued, Mr Kuria contested the prices presented by the host of the show, insisting that they send another crew to Ruiru to investigate potential lower prices.
