No rationing. Deal with water cartels
The announcement of a county-wide water rationing programme last week is yet another classic example of a mismatched diagnosis to an ailment.
It is not that Nairobi does not have enough water, but by the county government’s own admission, cartels have taken over the distribution.
Why then is Dr Kidero’s administration opting for the easy way out instead of dealing with them head on?
How long will they bury their heads in the sand?
