NTV journalist faces off with Alai over links to Nairobi Aviation
NTV’s reporter Enoch Sikolia has denounced claims made by blogger Robert Alai that he is a graduate of the discredited Nairobi Aviation College.
Sikolia, who is a senior political reporter, had been linked to the college exposed in an investigative series as aiding students obtain fake certificates.
Alai tweeted on Sunday, “NTV’s Enock Sickolia is a graduate of Nairobi Aviation, will they sack him that now they have discovered the scam? #CertificatesOfDoom.”
Sikolia later denied the allegations and clarified on Twitter, “I have one degree – Bsc Medical Lab Science – from KU. I quit Nairobi Aviation College after a year for personal reasons #CertificatesOfDoom.”
Alai went ahead and even put a list of 20 journalists from different media houses that he claimed were graduates of the college.
Facebook users who commented on Alai’s post stated that Sikolia is a Kenyatta University graduate.
Audrey Wafubwa commented, “Enock Sikolia was in KU bwana.”
