Nyandarua Senator John Methu mourns the passing of his father


Nyandarua Senator John Methu is mourning the demise of his dad.

He took to social media to share the heartbreaking news of his father’s passing on Christmas Day.

The veteran politician revealed that his father breathed his last on Monday morning, casting a shadow of sorrow over what should have been a festive celebration.

“Death is painful and cruel. The pain of losing a parent is immeasurable. My dad rested this morning,” Senator Methu expressed on his social media platforms.

Senator Methu did not reveal the circumstances surrounding his father’s demise.

The announcement prompted an outpouring of condolences from Kenyans across social media platforms.

Messages of sympathy and support flooded the comment section, with well-wishers expressing their heartfelt condolences to the grieving senator.

Mukurweini Member of Parliament, a close ally of Senator Methu, offered words of comfort, saying, “Pole sana bro for this immeasurable loss that has befallen you and your family. May you be comforted and have peace knowing dad is in a better place.”

Facebook user Daniel Kahuthu joined the chorus of condolences, writing, “Pole sana Kaba Methu Senator Nyandarua. May God grant you peace that surpasses human understanding.”

“May his soul rest well, and it shall be with you. It’s sad indeed, but may you find peace and comfort in Christ Jesus,” added Wanjiru AlexSir.

Mwalimu P Gachanja expressed his condolences, saying, “I express my heartfelt condolences mheshimiwa. It is well.”
