Kenya’s The Lord Erroll Restaurant scoops top global awards
The Lord Erroll Restaurant in Runda, Nairobi, has received nine continental awards of excellence by the World Luxury Restaurant Awards.
The colonial-era eatery, which was established in memory of late Military Secretary of Kenya, Josslyn Hay- Earl of Erroll, received the awards in Belfast, Northern Ireland, at the Galgorm Resort and Spa.
The awards saw over 200 guests from 42 different countries across the globe get recognized in their respective categories.
Winners are determined, not only through voting, but also by judges looking at the brand, location, overall guest satisfaction from online reviews, services and facilities, design, and menu.
The restaurant was awarded the best in, among others; French cuisine in Africa, most romantic atmosphere, continent winner in Africa, best luxury scenic setting, continent winner Africa, best luxury family restaurant Africa, best gourmet cuisine in Africa, most luxurious ambiance in East Africa, best luxury theme restaurant in Africa, best food styling and presentation in the region and best luxury interior design architecture in Kenya.
