Pastor Ng’ang’a defends TB Joshua after controversial documentary

Neno Evangelism Church founder, Pastor James Ng’ang’a had defended the late Nigerian prophet TB Joshua, responding to allegations raised in a recent BBC Africa Eye documentary titled “The Life and Death of TB Joshua.”

The documentary featured testimonies from former disciples of Joshua, accusing him of orchestrating fake miracles, exploitation of followers, and subjecting them to physical and sexual abuse.

In a statement, Pastor Ng’ang’a shared his personal experience with TB Joshua, recounting a visit to the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) in Lagos, Nigeria.

According to Ng’ang’a, his encounter with Joshua left him convinced that the late prophet was indeed a true man of God.

“I went to TB Joshua’s church, and when he heard I was around, he ordered I be transferred to another accommodation, which was presidential.

On Sunday, I went to his church and found my seat and my wife’s had been reserved despite the church being full. I was called. I later invited him to Kenya, but he told me to relax and return to Kenya and spread the gospel,” Pastor Ng’ang’a asserted.

Ng’ang’a went on to highlight the respect and hospitality he received during his visit, dispelling any notions of financial exploitation.

According to him, Joshua offered guidance and encouragement without seeking any monetary gain in return.

“That man was a man of God. I went there. I went to TB Joshua’s church, and when he heard I was around, he ordered I be transferred to another house, which was presidential.”

TB Joshua’s trended on social media for the better part of last week after the documentary was released.
