Sh782m to buy-out for new Outering Road
A whopping Sh782m is being set aside to buy off landowners and traders displaced by the new Outering Road.
Only 177 plots on the 13 kilometre dual carriageway will attract compensation, however.
Hundreds of others do not have proper titles, while some were acquired illegally.
The road upgrade will be from Allsops on the Thika Super Highway to the Taj Mall on the Eastern Bypass.
