Step-by-step manual on how to fill your KUCCPS application
As the deadline for KUCCPS applications draws near, many students are gearing up to make their selections for tertiary education.
For those navigating this process, here’s a step-by-step guide to completing your KUCCPS application efficiently:
Step 1: Logging In
Begin by logging in to the student portal using your KCSE index number as the username. For the password, input the KCSE year, followed by either your Birth Certificate Number or KCPE Index Number used during KCSE registration.
Step 2: Selecting Programmes
Once logged in, navigate to the section where you can select the programmes you’re interested in. Move these selections into the Course Basket. This allows you to work with a condensed list when finalizing your choices.

Step 3: Entering Programme Codes
After narrowing down your preferred courses, enter the respective programme codes using the Application/Revision tab. Note that each programme has minimum subject requirements, and you’ll only be eligible to apply for courses that meet these criteria. Your overall performance and available capacity will also influence selection.
You can either jot down the programme codes for future applications or add them directly to your course basket by clicking the “ADD” button next to each course. Additionally, you have the option to search for courses by institution through the Institutions tab.
Step 4: Confirming Selections
Review your selected Programme Codes to ensure they align with your desired courses. Once confirmed, proceed to submit your application and follow the instructions for payment of the placement processing fee. It’s important to note that this fee should be paid after selecting courses while awaiting approval.
