I have 35 plants, they’re therapeutic – Natalie Tewa

Kenyan lifestyle influencer and gym rat Natalie Tewa has built a reputation around being a plant parent on social media as she always flaunts the myriad of plant types she hosts in her household.

In a recent video, the curvy influencer shared openly that she has 35 different plants in her house and also went on to share the reason she is obsessed with plants. Through the same video, Tewa wrote that having plants and caring for them is a form of therapy she greatly responds to.

“I’ve had mine for two and a half years now and I’ve literally seen them through into young adulthood 😂 There’s something so therapeutic about watching your plants grow and taking care of them is actually so easy once you have the hang of it,” read Tewa’s post.

The influencer has long talked about her love for plants with her content on YouTube ranging from plant care to plant therapy. Her love for plants became more noticeable, however, when it was alleged that she and her ex-fiance Francis Mugane had gone separate ways.

This was heavily speculated when she deleted all photos with Mugane and unfollowed him shortly after, towards the end of 2023. The former love birds got engaged in February of the same year.

However, the lifestyle content creator has made a smooth transition into singlehood and she has not been shying from the changes. Just a month ago, the influencer discussed the significance of turning 30 in a candid vlog on her YouTube channel.

Addressing the curiosity of her fans who often inquire about her age, height, and other aspects of her life. Tewa shared her thoughts on reaching this milestone age.

“I’m turning 30, and I’m not ashamed. People always be like, oh, you’re growing old. When are you gonna get married? I’m like, listen, peeps, first of all, 30 is like the new 20, okay,” she shared.

She added, “Millennials, we are blessed because 40-year-olds are even looking like 30-year-olds. I think we’re more health-conscious, more aware. As much as the world is getting more toxic, to be honest, I feel like if you’re someone who takes care of yourself and just takes the time to understand how to take care of yourself, you’ve aged like fine wine. To be honest, I could have kids now. Like, I’m kind of like if it happens, it happens. If it doesn’t, I’m not mad. If it happens right now, it would be good. Next year would also be okay. The other year would also be fine. I’m not pressed for it, but it’s a nice thing, and I definitely do want kids.”
