Uhuru delivers school bus promise within days
After a surprise visit to Joytown Special School on Easter Saturday, President Uhuru Kenyatta and First Lady Margaret Kenyatta on Thursday delivered two new school buses.
The students got a chance to visit State House and were gifted with two buses for both primary and secondary sections of the school.
President Kenyatta posed for photos with the students and their teachers before seeing them off in their brand new buses.
EASTER VISIT
Photos posted on the President’s official Facebook page bore the caption, “I have this morning delivered the two buses that I promised to the students of Joytown Special Primary School and Secondary School.”
In attendance was MP Alice Ng’ang’a who represents Thika constituency where the school is located.
During the Easter visit, the President and the First Lady freely interacted with the students and and challenges faced by the schools were presented to them.
