Upper Hill students outshine Sauti Sol with ‘Kuliko Jana’ cover
Kenya’s all boys band Sauti Sol have met their match in Upper Hill High School students who have outshone the band with their ‘Kuliko Jana‘ chorus that has gone viral on social media.
The chorus, blended with impressive vocals belted out by the students, is the talk of town. The video also adds an icing on it as the students beam with lovely smiles.
Sauti Sol, visited their former school in July and after their departure, their chorus, ‘Kuliko Jana‘, sung by the Upper Hill students has been a favourite of social media users.
The students displayed great talent and by August 3, the video had scooped over 600 comments and 250, 000 views on YouTube.
Sauti Sol got their skills and nurtured their music talent from Upper Hill School Choir taught by Philip ‘Filah’ Tuju who is currently the music coach at the school.
