Watch: Comedian Njugush recreates Miss Trudy’s viral airport video

Comedian Njugush has left his fans in stitches after he recreated YouTuber Miss Trudy’s scuffle with security officers at the airport.

The digital media influencer and vlogger have been trending on Twitter after sharing a video ranting at the Moi International Airport after being blocked from filming at the premises.

In the viral video, Trudy explains that officers at the Mombasa airport allegedly almost arrested her for creating content at the airport.

“Guys we are being harassed at the airport, I’m just creating content, and this is Kenya, content creators have the right to create content, this is 2023, and they have even brought a police to arrest me,” she said.

However, KOT swiftly joined the conversation accusing the travel Vlogger of being ignorant about what the law says when it comes to shooting videos or taking photos at the airport.

Comedian and content creator Njugush joined the bandwagon making fans about the video.

“We are being harassed. I am a comment creator. This is not right,” comedian Njugush said as he mimicked Trudy on Instagram.

“My name is Mr Twende. The comments are not related to the posts and it is our right to create the comments. Why are they deleting the comments?”

The comedian’s fans have jumped on the comment section with mixed reactions.

Earlier on, KOT also accused the travel Vlogger of being ignorant about what the law states about taking videos and photos at the airport.

The Kenya Civil Aviation Security Regulations 2020 59 (1-c) states that a person who engages in operating a portable electronic device is liable, on conviction, to a fine not exceeding Sh500,000 or imprisonment not exceeding six months, or both.

The law further states that a person who commits an offense, or refuses to comply with a lawful order issued by the airport operator, on behalf of the Authority, has the purpose of maintaining good order and discipline at the airport.

The police in the matter of Miss Trudy had the right within the law, to arrest the vlogger and her team for filming without any authorization by writing to the manager of the airport.
