Daddy Owen celebrates ten years in music
Singer Daddy Owen will on Sunday celebrate a decade as a gospel artiste with the launch of his fifth album titled Vanity. The launch of the album will go down at the Carnivore grounds from 3pm.
The multiple award winning star’s single Vanity, off the album, is already a hit that has received both massive airplay and rave reviews.
The song also earned him a standing ovation when he performed it at this year’s Groove Awards ceremony.
Daddy Owen is one of the most prolific gospel artistes in the country with hits such as Tobina, System ya Kapungala and Mbona in which he co-wrote with Denno.
He also won a MAMA award in 2010.
