Sonko’s New Year bag of goodies for Nairobians


Nairobi residents are set to benefit from an array of free services, courtesy of Senator Mike ‘Sonko’ Mbuvi. These include free healthcare, mortuary services and wedding transportation.

The controversial senator who is renowned for his philanthropy confirmed through the social media saying he is certain the move will add value to the lives of those who elected him into office.

“I am kicking off this year by focusing more on service delivery to wananchi (citizens),” the politician said on his Facebook page.

FREE MEDICAL SERVICES

“I have managed to purchase ambulances for Nairobi residents that will provide free medical services and response to Medical Emergencies on a 24 hour basis.”

“I have also purchased 5 breakdown trucks and vehicles that will offer services 24 hours each day to safely tow or carry your car for free to your desktop, and four Land Rovers that will carry out security patrols, in a deliberate efforts aimed at reducing crime.”

“I have also purchased small fire engines, big water tankers, two large garbage collection trucks and free limousines to Nairobi residents for wedding purposes.”

The politician did not however deliberate on the source of the funds used to purchase the equipment and vehicles, employ manpower, and service the same, which is estimated to be running into millions of shillings.
