Trouble in paradise or clout chasing? Vera Sidika sparks fresh speculations
Kenyan socialite Vera Sidika has left her fans speculating about the state of her marriage after making changes to her Instagram account.
Vera has removed the “wife” title from her bio, leaving only her status as a reality TV star. Fans have also noticed that she unfollowed her husband, Brown Mauzo and deleted some of their photos.
Speculation began weeks ago when Mauzo deleted photos of Sidika from his Instagram account and unfollowed her. The singer now only follows his two daughters, Asia Brown and Lareesa Brown.
When contacted by Nairobi News, Vera was reluctant to discuss the matter.
“I am okay… and my baby is doing well. I am not doing any interview at the moment, please,” she said.

A breakup between Sidika and Mauzo would be surprising, as the couple has been showcasing their love on social media for some time.
Vera recently gushed about Mauzo on The Real Housewives of Nairobi, saying “I’m married to Brown Mauzo… I call him Fred. My husband is the sweetest man ever. I normally call him the most handsome man on earth. And he honestly is – I don’t care what anyone thinks, but yes, he is.”
Vera and Mauzo’s relationship began in October 2020 when the socialite announced on Instagram that they had gotten married. She shared a photo of herself embraced by her new husband captioned “I got married to my best friend. I love you so much, my Husband @brownmauzo254.”

Before he met Vera, Mauzo was involved with another socialite, Amber Ray. Their brief relationship was intense and Mauzo even dedicated a song, Would You Love Me to Amber Ray.
After the song’s release, Mauzo confirmed their relationship, saying, “Ni Kweli, sio fununu. Wameona watu kwenye social media zetu kuwa tuko pamoja. Ni Kweli.”
The relationship between Mauzo and Amber Ray is believed to be the source of the animosity between the two socialites.
“The two don’t see eye to eye, and neither of them has kind words to say about the other,” a friend of Amber Ray once said.
But in the midst of all the speculation, fans still can’t tell whether Vera and Mauzo’s latest social media activity signals a genuine split or its just another publicity stunt.
