Jackie Matubia responds to reports of reunion with ex-Blessing Lung’aho
Kenyan actress and content creator, Jackie Matubia, has put an end to recent speculation about her rekindling a romance with her ex-lover, Blessing Lungaho, also known as Madiba. In a recent social media comment, Matubia denied any such reunion, firmly shutting down the rumors that had been circulating.
The spark that ignited these rumors was a video that had been making the rounds on various social media platforms. Many jumped to conclusions, assuming the lady in the video was none other than the award-winning actress herself. What seemed to fuel this assumption was the uncanny resemblance between the nails of the lady in the video and those of Jackie Matubia.
However, Matubia wasted no time in addressing these speculations head-on, throwing some shade while she was at it. She suggested that those speculating about her love life should have directed their energy toward something more worthwhile, like investing in fresh flowers, rather than plucking content from an empty vase. Her response was both candid and amusing, leaving no room for doubt about her stance on the matter.

In the video caption that seemed to have rubbed Matubia the wrong way, Blessing Lungaho announced a soft launch of his “new babe.” He humorously referenced the saying “love is blind” and claimed to have found his perfect match. He went on to reveal his plans for Saturday nights, which involved watching TV on StarTimes with his newfound love and enjoying the company of friends.
This social media exchange attracted a flurry of comments from netizens who had taken a deep dive into Blessing’s page as well as Matubia’s. They eagerly shared their theories and speculations about why they believed the two might be getting back together.
However, Jackie Matubia’s swift and witty response effectively dispelled any rumors of a romantic reconciliation with Blessing Lungaho.
Jackie Matubia and Blessing Lung’aho started dating in February 2021 and welcomed their first child in June 2022. In April 2022, during his birthday, Blessing proposed to the mother of his child in a classy setup, but a year later, the two parted ways. Matubia confirmed she was single after sharing cryptic messages about relationships for over for months and said she was looking for Mr Right.
