Kidero now wants Sonko, Kenneth arrested for gun drama in Dagoretti

Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero wants his rivals in Jubilee Party arrested for involvement in a gun drama incident last Sunday.

Dr Kidero accused Internal Secretary Joseph Nkaissery of laxity when dealing with Jubilee politicians involved in chaos.

“Nkaissery has been the loudest CS, but now he has been quiet on the events of Sunday,” said Dr Kidero.

He spoke in Dagoretti on Thursday where he commissioned the construction of a two kilometre link road that will cost Sh139 million.

FOOTBALL MATCH

Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko, Dagoreti South MP Dennis Waweru and former Gatanga MP Peter Kenneth were present when guns were drawn at a football match in Dagoreti after rowdy youth stormed the field.

Police in plain clothes shot in the air to disperse the youths suspected to be allied to Senator Sonko and Mr Waweru

Governor Kidero said that he would have led the public to make a civic arrest of his three Jubilee rivals but is giving the government time to take action.

He also linked the three politicians to the chaos that rocked Eastleigh on Wednesday pitting traders against hawkers. The chaos started after hawkers obtained a court order allowing them to operate on the streets of Eastleigh.
