Tecno Camon CX review, unboxing and specifications – VIDEO
The Tecno Camon CX, also known as Camon C10, is a step-up of the previously released Camon C9 and is the latest version of the Tecno Camon Series launched in Nairobi.
It was alongside its step down version Camon CX Air.
The two new Camon series smartphones have been a huge talk in the mobile industry in Kenya as it is said to come with higher specifications compared to the earlier Camon series launched in 2016.

The device is a camera centered phone made for those who love selfies and want to take a lot of pictures and share on various online platforms.
The phone also comes with features which make it a top end device, but the major selling point is the camera and the fast finger scanner on the device.
The CX smartphone is powered by Mediatek MT6750T chipset, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage.
It runs on Android OS v7.0 (Nougat) out of the box and comes with a Li-Po 3200 mAh, non-removable battery.
It features a 5.5 inches IPS display with 1080 x 1920 px resolution. The IPS technology is one of the most leading LCD technologies in the world.
The smartphone’s memory cannot be expanded, but the storage can be expanded with a microSD card.

The camera of the CX comes with an autofocus a feature that fine-tunes the focus of the camera.
It is 3G and 4G capable and has a built-in GPS receiver.
One of the best features of the device is the sensors which measure physical quantities and transmit them to the application processor.
The phone’s accelerometer is a built-in electronic component that measures tilt and motion.
A fingerprint sensor is one of the easiest and most secure ways to protect your smartphone.
The proximity sensor detects when a user is holding the phone near their face during a call and turns off the display to prevent keypad presses and battery consumption from the display.
The device also has Dual SIM capability, which means that you can insert two different SIM cards and use them both from one phone.
