G4S guard shot dead by gangsters at KDF officer’s home


A 30-year-old G4S guard was on Saturday morning shot dead by suspected thugs who had raided the home of a Kenya Defense Forces officer.

According to a report by the KDF officer, at around 4am three armed thugs broke into his house in Ololua area within Ngong by cutting the window grills.

Two of the gangsters accessed the residence while one was left outside guarding the compound.

FATALLY SHOT

The occupants of the house sounded alarm and a team of G4s personnel who were on patrol responded to the alarm.

Unfortunately, on reaching the main gate one of the guards, who was later identified as Eddy Okari, was fatally shot on the neck. The victim died on the spot.

The robbers stole electronics, including a laptop, phones a TV set and Sh150,000 in cash, before escaping using two motorcycles.

The body of the deceased was moved to City Mortuary awaiting autopsy.
