Adidas unveils new store at The Hub Karen

Sports gear retailers RA Sports announced the grand opening of an Adidas retail outlet at The Hub Karen, Nairobi, further solidifying its presence in the Kenyan market.

The momentous occasion was graced by Egyptian Ambassador in Nairobi Wael Nasreddin Attia, who ceremoniously cut the ribbon alongside RA Sports Country Manager, Karim Montasser.

The strategically located store aims to offer an enhanced shopping experience to sports enthusiasts and fashion-forward individuals, providing access to Adidas’ latest collections and cutting-edge products.

“We believe this new store will help Kenyans access quality, modern, and affordable Adidas apparel, including shoes, training gear, and a wide range of stylish sportswear options,” said Karim.

The Egyptian company believes that the new store will provide Kenyan sportspersons with easier access to quality, modern and affordable Adidas kit for different disciplines.

The first store opened during a Covid-19-ravaged November 2020, at Westgate Mall which exclusively stocks gear from German giant Adidas.

According to Montasser, they are planning to open more stores including a Puma store at The Hub Karen on August 23 and two stores one Adidas and one Puma on December 23 in Mombasa Nyali City Mall.

“We are expanding to bring genuine and original merchandise to apparel lovers because we believe in the Kenyan market especially we believe in Kenya which should be the hub of East Africa and still Kenya market is pure and needs a lot of brands to come in,” Montasser said.

In 2021, RA had more than 120 stores with more than 15 brands in Egypt and has started expanding their wings with one shop in Sudan and another in Uganda, where they also have two factory outlets.
