Africa’s funniest comedians coming to Nairobi
Comedy fans in Kenya can look forward to rib tickling entertainment by some of the biggest names in the industry drawn from across Africa.
Laugh Industry will on July 29 host a grand rib-cracking affair as Kenyan king of comedy Daniel Ndambuki of the Churchill Show fame hosts a versatile mix of Africa’s top comedians.
Among the comedians lined up for the day will be Uganda’s sensational comedian Salvado, Rwanda’s Nkusi Arthur, Carl Ncube from Zimbabwe, DRC’s Eddie Kadi, South African Ndumsio Lindi and Daliso Chaponda from Malawi.
The event that will be held at Carnivore Gardens from 6pm will also include an amazing selection of Churchill Show comedians, such as MC Jessy, Prof Hamo, Sleepy and Aman who will be making special appearances.
According to the organisers, the debut Laugh Festival will unify Africa’s comedy scene which is a first of its kind.
With over 15 years’ experience in the comedy, Laugh Industry has seen the need to venture beyond Kenya for a new experience to provide quality entertainment and bring African comedians on one platform.
Presenting Africa’s best comedians and including Kenya’s crème de la crème, this new venture is also set to challenge local talent to compete with top African counterparts.
The event tickets are on sale at ticketsasa with a regular ticket going for Sh 2,000 and VIP tickets going for Sh 4,000.
