Anerlisa Muigai shows off her engagement ring

Anerlisa Muigai, daughter of the founders of Keroche Breweries, has proudly shown off her engagement ring for the first time.

Anerlisa said yes to her longtime boyfriend, Melvin Ibrahim.

While not much is known about Melvin, he is known for running Apex Automotive, a car dealership in Nairobi.

In a heartwarming video shared by Sarah Kabu, CEO of Bonfire Adventures, Anerlisa happily showed off her ring during a lovely moment they shared together.

Sarah’s caption hinted at the excitement of catching up with a friend after a long time and hearing all about her new beau, from their first meeting to the proposal and even honeymoon plans.

She jokingly mentioned the possibility of Anerlisa outdoing everyone with her future honeymoon plans, suggesting a luxurious trip to the Maldives on a private jet.

In the video, Anerlisa can be seen giggling with joy.

To celebrate the engagement, Anerlisa’s family organised a lavish gathering at their home in Naivasha.

Her parents, Nakuru senator Tabitha Karanja and business tycoon Joseph Karanja, invited the who’s who of the political world to commemorate their daughter’s engagement.

The affair was graced by notable personalities including Senator-designate Tabitha Mutinda, Esther Okenyuri and Hamida Kibwana who showed off their elegance in stylish ensembles.

Senator Mutinda took to social media to share glimpses of the glittering occasion, capturing the festive ambience and beaming faces of those in attendance.

Anerlisa’s mother stole the spotlight in a striking long pink kitenge gown with hints of jungle green, which epitomised sophistication and poise.

The announcement sparked an outpouring of congratulatory messages from Kenyans celebrating Anerlisa’s engagement.

However, despite the buzz surrounding the event, the Keroche heiress has chosen to remain tight-lipped about the details.

Anerlisa’s engagement comes two years after her divorce from Tanzanian star Ben Pol in 2021, after they got engaged in an equally hush-hush affair in 2018.
