Celebrated musician Sanaipei Tande pays tribute to fallen dad

Sanaipei Tande, the esteemed media personality, has delivered a touching and emotional tribute to her late father, Manasseh Lemaiyian Tande.

The heartfelt tribute follows the passing of her beloved dad on October 13, 2023,  after a brief but intense battle with illness.

The Tande family officially announced the sad news through an obituary, commemorating the life of a remarkable man who left an indelible mark on the lives of those fortunate enough to have known him.

Manasseh’s legacy, as described in the tribute, embodies qualities of strength, resilience, love, and kindness.

In her heartfelt tribute, Sanaipei, affectionately known as Sanaa, fondly recounted her experiences and the special bond she shared with her late father over their 46 years together.

She cherished their time spent enjoying each other’s company, from conversations and laughter to memorable road trips that they embarked on with enthusiasm.

Their close-knit relationship was often so filled with laughter and camaraderie that onlookers sometimes mistook them for friends rather than father and daughter.

Sanaipei reminisced about their shared love for music, encompassing both soulful melodies and Congolese Rhumba, the latter being an influence of her father.

Their travels and appreciation for wildlife, along with their endearing quirks, such as overboiling tea while chatting, became cherished memories.

She further highlighted her father’s influence on her spirituality and approach to life, emphasizing how he encouraged her to explore readings on spirituality, the universe, and energies to gain a deeper understanding of life.

The touching tribute ended with a poignant reflection on the spiritual connection she believes persists after physical passing, emphasizing that her father remains more than just a parent.

I say, daddy you are more than a father you are my friend you are my protector you are my guide and I know that we will continue to talk continue to reminisce and laugh continue to continue to discuss our plans for the future and continue to celebrate our successes and have many many many life moments together,” She said.

“I am happy that on your last day as a human being I got to iron on your shirt for you one more time I got to drive you one more time I got to talk with you one more time I got to cut and serve your fruits and milk one more time I got to rub your back to ease the pain one more time and I got to hold you one more time I will forever hear your voice be it as a praise encouragement or a polite.”

Sanaipei described her dad as her friend, protector, and guide.
