Calif Records boss, Clement Rapudo, better known as Clemmo, plans to work with Bongo Flava artistes.
Clemmo visited Dar es Salaam to secure deals with some musicians, said Calif’s studio manager Arton.
“We are looking at working with Diamond to begin with, which is why Clemmo had to go to Dar last week,” he said.
Critics, however, say that Calif is a struggling stable and it is now looking for artistes from different production houses.
Last month, Calif signed a deal to produce and release music in collaboration with Grandpa Records.
