Diamond: Bien is my favorite Kenyan artiste

Tanzanian artiste, Diamond Platnumz, has publicly praised Sauti Sol’s Bien for his amazing vocal abilities and talent.

In a video shared on his Instagram page, Diamond is seen applying makeup as he jams to several of Bien’s songs.

He goes on to state that Inauma is his favorite song from the Kenyan artiste, and adding that in general Bien is his favorite Kenyan artiste.

These compliments from Diamond, who is one of Africa’s biggest music stars, is a huge honour for Bien and Sauti Sol, who have continued to make waves in the African music scene with their unique sound and performances.

Diamond and his signee Zuchu had called it quits in February 2023, leaving their fans in shock.

However, during a tour in London, Diamond was also spotted dancing to Bien’s song Inauma.

He sang his heart out to the song that talks about men being used to heartbreaks.

Diamond, the CEO of WCB and one of East Africa’s top musicians, has a massive following of 16 million followers on Instagram, but only follows 1,300 accounts.

Bien is among Kenyan celebrities Diamond follows. Over the past few years, the lead vocalist of Sauti Sol has achieved remarkable success in his music career.

In October, 2022, Bien celebrated a significant milestone on Instagram after the video for single Inauma hit one million views.

He expressed gratitude to his fans who have been supporting his music, stating that they had praised the song for its amazing quality.

“YouTube fam said the only thing wrong with this song is that it ends. Thanks a millie,” Bien wrote.

He also confirmed that he has no plans to release a remix of the song, as the original version is a winner on its own.

“…and just like that, the OG version wins, there’ll be NO Remix.”

Inauma is among several hit songs Bien has produced as a solo artiste.
