“He cared so deeply about the people and the things he was passionate about. Your genius bled all through your work both on stage and off it. As a creator and a mentor. And what a privilege it was to have had a front-row seat to your greatness.”

In her tribute, Ciru painted a picture of Charli as the epitome of kindness and gentleness, promising to cherish his memory for eternity.

“You were the kindest man I have ever known,” she expressed.

“With you, I knew that I was wholly accepted, through good times and bad. We created together, we fought, we laughed, we cried, and most of all we loved.”

Despite the pain of their separation, Ciru vowed to carry Charli’s love with her always, until they are reunited once more.
